Welcome to Colette's...C OLETTE'S Horse & Dog Show at FARMING WORLD (29th April) has been postponed until 10th June due to the ground being waterlogged. The judges for 10th June will be: Wendy Davis (SJ), Jamie Sheehy (in-hand showing), Steven Hulston-Critchley & Imogen Aylwin (ridden showing), Jackie Birch (dressage), Jo Lusher & Carol Gott (dog show). * * * BARVILLE FARM SHOW (due to take place on 6th May) HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO WET GROUND. Once again, this year the HICKSTEAD HORSE FEEDS SHOW JUMPER OF THE YEAR CHAMPIONSHIPS will be split into Winter and Summer Finals - by popular demand. The Summer Championships took place on 25th September 2011 and the Winter Championships will take place in April 2012. Anyone in possession of a Hickstead SJ qualification card may compete in BOTH the winter AND summer champs!
Passports, Insurance & Disclaimer
All horses/ponies which enter the show ground MUST have a valid equine passport and MUST be properly vaccinated against equine influenza. Please bring your passport with you to the show as you may be required to show it. All horses/ponies entering the show ground must have appropriate insurance. All competitors and members of the public enter the show ground at their own risk. The show organisers cannot be held responsible for anything that may happen from any cause or circumstances whatsoever to exhibitors, their servants or any person visiting or attending the show. It shall be considered a condition of entry or admission to the show ground that each person shall hold the show organisers harmless and that they shall indemnify the show organisers against any legal proceedings arising from any such case or circumstance. Rules will be displayed on the day Show Rules Riders must wear a correctly fastened (current standard) riding hat at ALL times when mounted. Children must be supervised at ALL times. Dogs must be kept on a lead at ALL times. Please clear up after your dog. Please put all litter in bins provided or take it home with you – please do not leave litter on the ground as the show field is used for animal grazing. Please do NOT leave horse / ponies tied to horse boxes / trailers unattended. No cantoring or galloping except in designated warm-up area. Please ensure all entrances / exits to show ground and arenas are kept clear. By entering the show ground you are agreeing to abide by the rules of the show. ![]() |
